- The voice mail function works on my new sportster vi, but it has a few
- annoying limitations:

- 1. Recording and playback are through the modem speaker and
- microphone jacks or the telephone handset. You can't use the
- soundcard. Even my unlamented zoltrix rpi modem with voice mail
- supported recording and playback through the soundcard, which also
- meant better sound quality.

- 2. There is a limit of nine mailboxes. This is not an issue for me,
- but it is to many small businesses.
